Kona Coffee Grilled Chicken Wings
Wings are briefly marinated in a Kona coffee rub, and then grilled for a charred, delicious BBQ treat.
Servings: 4 people
- 1 1/2 lbs. whole chicken wings, cut into drumettes and wingettes
- 1 1/2 tbsp Rub Me Dirty Chicken Rub
- juice of 1 lime
- 1 tbsp olive oil
To marinate, put cut chicken wings into a large bowl. Add rub seasoning, lime juice, and olive oil. Mix completely and rest in the fridge for 3 hours to overnight.
Get your charcoal grill ready. Heat coals up to about 400F and allow the grill to heat up.
Lay the wings on the hot side of the grill. Cook about 5 minutes per side. You may need to keep any larger wings on the grill 1-2 minutes longer.
Remove onto a plate. Serve immediately,
